Attention all blockchain and crypto community members - The SUKU team is coming to Tokyo! Join us for a night of food, drinks, community, and blockchain!

This meetup will feature industry leaders such as Mike Kayamori (Liquid CEO), Yonathan Lapchik (SUKU CEO), and Seth Melamed (Liquid CBO), discussing how blockchain is utilized globally to empower consumers and provide access to verified and authentic goods.

Before heading to Osaka for Blockchain Week, do drop in to the Liquid office and learn how SUKU is empowering conscious consumers through blockchain. Specifically, how SUKU allows brands to provide and verify the necessary information to support claims about their products in a consumer-friendly manner. About our speakers:

■ Yonathan is the former Product Lead for Deloitte’s US Blockchain Lab with over 13 years of experience in delivering technology strategies and solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Yonathan holds an MBA from Duke University and a BSc in Computer Science from Universidad ORT Uruguay. Yonathan is also a frustrated singer and avid poker player.

■ Mike is Co-Founder and CEO of Liquid Group, and has over 20 years of experience in investments, business management, IT and venture capital across Japan, the United States, India and Southeast Asia at SoftBank Group, Globespan Capital Partners and Mitsubishi Corporation. Mike holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

■ Seth Melamed is the Chief Business Officer of Liquid Group. Seth was a former senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs with experience working in Tokyo, New York, Moscow and Salt Lake City for 11 years. Seth’s time at Goldman Sachs equips him with a powerful understanding of what clients expect of a financial institution like Quoine. Seth enjoys snacking on edamame during his free time.
