Event
Join Aave, Monolith, OmiseGO, Reserve, Terra, and Blocknative straight after Devcon for an exclusive dinner next to the conference.
We'll be talking DeFi while enjoying a multi-course meal next to the conference venue at the Hyatt Regency.
Doors will open shortly after the last Devcon sessions conclude, to allow everyone to make it to the venue and meet some of the other participants. We will be talking about reserve currencies, modern financial services, and how DeFi connects to the consumer.
Reserve is a digital currency that will have real-world value, enabling broader economic prosperity by giving people autonomy and control of their money. Reserve will provide people with a hyperinflation-protected savings account to help them protect and use their money globally. Reserve is being designed to be stable, open to all, and massively scalable, with a separate token that will reward users who support the network.
Aave is a Swiss-based technology company founded in 2017 by Stani Kulechov, focused on empowering people through technology and innovation across all industries through the development of decentralized and hybrid blockchain applications. They have an extensive list of products that range from ambient accounts, lending software, custody and payments services to blockchain-based games and developer tools.
Monolith’s vision is to realise the token economy by establishing it in daily life, and they’ve started with money. Monolith is building a consumer self-sovereign finance experience for the crypto world with the integrity of decentralisation, that is as simple, elegant and useful, with a fundamental and crucial difference; their users need never relinquish control of their assets.
Blocknative created Notify, the ecosystem’s first live Mempool API. Notify gives developers real-time updates on in-flight transactions and can be accessed via a lightweight API, easy-to-use SDK, or rich open-source front-end framework. Designed and operated by an experienced infrastructure development team, Notify is powered by a global network of fullnodes.
Terra is building a decentralized price-stable cryptocurrency that will gain usage as a means of payment at massive scale through an alliance of large commerce partners across the globe. It will then leverage its scale and network effects to facilitate the development of unbounded financial dApps, growing the real GDP of the blockchain economy.
